TYPE OF ENGAGEMENT:
Supply Chain Responsibility
INDUSTRY/COMPANY TYPE:
Software
'KNOT':
Internal stakeholders only used incumbent suppliers even for new spend opportunities. It was great for incumbent suppliers but the practice did not support the new strategy of diversity and inclusion nor did it promote the innovation needed to be more competitive in the marketplace.
THE UNTWINE APPROACH:
Introduced qualified diverse suppliers to internal decision makers in a fun and different way while catering to their upcoming needs. This gave the vetted suppliers an opportunity to pitch their business in an intentional setting
UNRAVELING OUTCOME:
The internal team was left in awe of the suppliers they met and gained trust their pipeline of projects could be met by a diverse set of suppliers. Contacts were made and internal stakeholders agreed to afford participating suppliers an opportunity to bid for work.
